New SXP Widgets Available
Two new SXP Widgets are now available - Gmail and Notes. Just click 'Widgets' above and select the Email Icon or the Notes Icon, and remember, we automatically save your settings, so the widgets will be there when you return! Our new default jpg background is pretty cool too...if you can't see it on your page, click 'Customize' and then 'Reset to Defaults.' Enjoy!

We’ve created a new SXPWidget that can be customized to any color and width and can easily be inserted on your blog or website. You can see it in action on our widget customization page, or on the popular web 2.0 blogs where is currently being displayed – CenterNetworks.com and Rev2.org.

(sxp) SocialXperience on Mashable!
Kristen Nicole over at Mashable wrote us up today, so Thanks for spreading the word! We were reviewed as a start page, with competitors such as pageflakes and symbaloo, although my main focus for this site has always been to develop a quality list of partners (companies like Ustream.tv, Revver, JuiceCaster) to provide interesting content to the (sxp) blog about their companies as well as their insights on the web 2.0 industry from an insider's perspective. That is something that I feel has never been done, and it has the potential to change the way these types of companies go about marketing their sites and interacting with potential users of their services.

SocialXperience has been Profy'd
Profy.com wrote up a very nice review of (sxp) SocialXperience today, so thanks for the kind word! It is correct that this is a one man operation, but I do have lots of help in the design and development areas, thanks to ElipseAgency...I simply come up with the ideas, the marketing, and the funding. Like they discuss on Profy, I do plan on keeping the focus here very much on building a quality list of partners to provide interesting content to the (sxp) Blog from an insider perspective. We created the blog feed and news widgets because I know that people will not ever rely on one source for their information, so the widgets help to make us a more complete Social Networking News Xperience.

(sxp) SocialXperience on KillerStartups
We were reviewed today on KillerStartups, so take a look, and make sure you vote for us! One correction...we don't actually double as a social network. All of the cool icons at the top for Photo Sharing, Video, Professional, etc. are the Blog categories. We are, however a start page with our custom widgets for blog feeds, news, email, weather, calendar, box.net, notes, and web search. The remaining widgets are coming soon - we just launched on Wednesday, so stop back for much more content from our awesome partners...Revver, Ustream.tv, Blip.tv, Gusto, VideoJug, Sonific, and many more!

Bringing simplicity back to the web
There is a growing group of users out there that believe it or not just want to jump online and do the things they want to do and get back offline with as little fuss as possible. These users want to do the things that many of these web 2.0 sites have to offer like keep in touch with friends, share media, or write a blog but many of the existing solutions just seem too intimidating for them.

A Customizable Social Networking News Experience
The (sxp) SocialXperience user interface is not exactly what you will find at other blogs that are built on a standard platform. (It’s completely custom, and much cooler) Our blog navigation is found at the top of the page, where you can view blog categories such as Social Networks, Start Pages, Music, and Mobile. You can also view posts from individual companies by clicking on their logo, which will be found in it’s respective category. To find all of my posts about (sxp) SocialXperience, just click on our logo…it’s the first one in every category.
Feel free to customize your (sxp) page by clicking Customize in the upper corner. All of your settings, including widget position and size will be automatically saved so that everything will be just as you left it when you return.
We also provide our own exclusive RSS Widget for your website. It's fully customizable (you can change the widget's background, tab, text and logo colors). This small flash-based application gathers (sxp) SocialXperience's RSS information and delivers it to your website's visitors in a stylish and simple way.

The (sxp) SocialXperience Blog: Social Networking Straight from the Source
(sxp) SocialXperience takes a new approach to the social networking / web 2.0 blog by inviting those in the industry to be the authors. No one knows more about the inner workings of the web 2.0 industry than the companies themselves. This means that all reports of newly launched social networks, acquisition announcements, company updates, or general social web industry news will be authentic insider information directly from the teams at your favorite web 2.0 companies.
